I held it under a halogen bulb for 60 seconds and it glowed in the dark afterwards. It is worth noting there are two tiny marks on the top edge of the bezel, one around the 65' mark and another near the 20' mark, they are minuscule and I suspect that they may be a result of the manufacturing process. The gauge itself is immaculate the original rubber band is supple with no cracking, the glass crystal is scratch free, the machined metal housing is also excellent. This depth gauge has never been used. The manual contains instructions for altitude and temperature adjustments.
This ships from Canada to Canada and the USA. Divers who have used these swear by them as they possess a high level of quality and durability. The box has a couple dings and some light wear, the manual is creased. I have not personally had this gauge tested or calibrated.
